Joie Mimzy LX Review

I was struggling to find a good high chair for Freya and searched high and low for the perfect one. We were given one for Christmas but unfortunately, it didn't support Freya the way we needed. She kept slipping to the side and honestly didn't feel comfortable Freya being in it! So I started my hunt to find the 'perfect' high chair.

I was recommended the Joie Mimzy LX and honestly it's been life saver. It is such a unique high chair and I absolutely love it. There is so many different features on it and I think that is why I love it so much.

There is 7 different heights that you are able to adjust it to. It's great as you are able to move it to the perfect height for each person. You are able to push it into your dining table to let you child eat with you. Dinner time has been all fun and games being able to sit at the table together.

The insert is a lifesaver! Depending on what style you buy, depends on what insert you get. It provides that little extra support and comfort for small babies. As your child grows, the insert is able to be removed. The fact the insert is able to be removed and just chucked into the washing is great too!

There is 3 different recline positions. I find this better as it makes your child comfortable while sitting in their chair. Freya loves to be reclined once she has finished her dinner. I think this feature is great as I've never been able to find it on another high chair! Definitely, one of my favourite features of this chair. Freya obviously is comfy in her high chair as she has fallen asleep a few times in it!

The tray is so easy to use. It is an easy one handed slip off tray. It clips in to 3 different adjustments. While your child gets bigger the seat adjusts to fit them properly. The food tray is dishwasher safe and comes with a non-skid surface. The tray can be taken off and placed onto the back of the chair legs so it isn't taking up any space when you don't use it. Under the tray there is a retention

It is such an easy chair to store away. This was a big one for me as I wanted something to pack away easily and grab it quickly when needed. When folded it stands without any help.

All in all, this high chair is an absolute god send! It is so useful and honestly I couldn't recommend this high chair enough. Freya loves being in it and is quite happy to sit and chill in her chair. If you are struggling to find a high chair like I did then definitely get your hands on one of these!
